You are here: Home » What We Do » Measuring Our Impact
At SCAD, we take our commitment to transparency, accountability, and impact measurement seriously. Our fieldwork spans across five blocks, each comprising 150-250 villages. To ensure the effectiveness of our programs, we have established a comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team tasked with evaluating and reporting on our initiatives.
Financial Performance Analysis: Our M&E team coordinates monthly and quarterly monitoring meetings in each block, where financial performance is assessed by comparing budgets against actual expenditures.
Timely and Relevant Reporting: We prioritize the collection of timely and relevant data on program delivery, implementation, and the outcomes achieved. This data is essential for evaluating the impact of our initiatives.
Indicator Development: Collaborating closely with project staff and consulting with the community, we identify key indicators for monitoring and evaluating program outcomes. These indicators guide our assessment of the effectiveness of our projects.
Guidelines and Processes: The M&E team develops robust processes and guidelines for outcome monitoring and reporting. This includes the collection of baseline data, quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, and ensuring consistency and accuracy in reporting.
Capacity Building: We provide continuous training to our block office staff to ensure they are well-versed in M&E requirements for program delivery and outcome assessment. This ongoing training helps maintain high standards of accountability.
Progress Reports: Our team analyzes monthly and quarterly reports, synthesizing the data into collated summary progress reports, which are produced twice yearly. These reports provide insights into the impact and effectiveness of our programs.
Annual Evaluations: We conduct annual evaluations of all program activities in each block, with the results reported in our annual progress reports. These evaluations offer a comprehensive view of the outcomes and achievements of our initiatives.
By rigorously monitoring and evaluating our programs, SCAD aims to maximize its positive impact on the communities we serve. Our commitment to transparency ensures that our supporters and partners have a clear understanding of the tangible outcomes and changes we are making in the lives of individuals and communities.
