We reach out to children from various backgrounds, including gypsies, leprosy sufferers, saltpan workers, semi-orphans, and orphans. Through a range of programs such as schools, Balwadys, sponsorship programs, and more, we ensure that these children have access to quality education.

Supporting 7,000 Children in Pursuing Higher Education:

SCAD has played a pivotal role in supporting 7,000 children in their journey towards higher education. We provide financial assistance, mentorship, and guidance, helping these children overcome barriers and fulfill their aspirations of obtaining a higher education degree. By doing so, we empower them to achieve their fullest potential.

Renovating Rural Schools:

We believe that the learning environment plays a crucial role in a child’s education. To create conducive spaces for learning, we renovate rural schools. This includes refurbishing the floors, roofs, painting the walls, upgrading blackboards, and improving sanitation facilities, ensuring that children have a safe and welcoming place to study.

Rainwater Harvesting and Environmental Education:

We also focus on environmental sustainability by establishing rainwater harvesting tanks in schools. This encourages the practice of saving rainwater and converting it into drinking water through a three-layer filter system. Additionally, we establish school gardens to instill in students the importance of being environmentally friendly and connected to nature. These gardens cultivate pest-free vegetables using locally available inputs.

Promoting Eco-Friendly Practices:

SCAD goes beyond education by establishing Eco clubs in schools. These clubs promote eco-friendly activities and raise awareness about environmental conservation, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the planet.
