On Friday the 21st of September 80 SCAD supporters gathered at The Big Chill House in Kings Cross for a party in aid of raising funds for the charity's ongoing programmes. It was a brilliant night with music, dancing and games galore. The raffle prizes included dinner for two at Cinnamon Kitchen, an hour with a personal trainer, a set of Harper Collins books and an organic hamper.

The focus of a health related activity is to prevent and manage diseases and other physical and mental health conditions through the promotion of healthy behaviour in the community and the environment. Promoting health, including the reduction of health inequalities and generating and disseminating health information and knowledge, helps in aligning future health. Many diseases are preventable through simple, non-medical methods, like hand washing with soap which prevents many contagious diseases.
