Target communities

SCAD works with the most disadvantaged communities such as Dalith and most backward communities who are involved in dry land agriculture (small and marginal farming), agriculture labour, general coolie work, fishing, salt pan work, beedi rolling and Palmyra climbing. SCAD NIRMAN also works for the uplift of special groups such as Gypsies, Snake catchers (tribe), Leprosy affected, Children and persons with disability, HIV infected / affected. Our target group consists of children, adolescent girls, elders, youth and women.
